Power.ME: Polished and Primed

You may have noticed that Power.ME has undergone a significant facelift. Not that there was anything particularly wrong before, but with all the careful crafting behind this latest design, I am comfortable saying that for the professional manager, there is nothing that comes close.

Along with being impressed by the new interface, I’ve adopted a new model for getting my stuff done with Power.ME. Perhaps you already have figured it out. When I have something that really needs done, it really needs to be on my calendar. I like to mark it off when it is done, so I add a task with a due date in Power.ME. Then I select the appropriate calendar, and voila! Power.ME automatically sends my task to my calendar. This tool is so helpful to me I’m making it the tip of the week.

Tip of the Week: With the latest version of Power.ME (11.4.0), add content you want to manage as a task, and then add it to the calendar you use to get an overview of your life.

Can you tell me which calendars work with Power.ME? and how specifically do you handle adding tasks to your calendar – do you need to enter each task twice??
    Thanks much.

There’s no need to enter a task twice. The way you add a task to your calendar is a little different depending on which mobile device you’re using. In our user guide (http://power.me/gtd/support/faqs/user-guide/) you can select which device you use, then to find the directions for adding a task to your calendar, go to the Tasks portion of the user guide and look at the instructions for “Adding a Task to Your Device’s Calendar.” You’ll need to set a due date in the task’s Details page before you add it to your calendar.

Power.ME on the iPad, iPhone, and iPod will sync with the device’s internal calendar as well as any calendar you have already connected to that internal calendar.

Let us know if you have any other questions!
